Singing lessons in Middlesbrough.

What you can learn.

Singing lessons can help you get comfortable using your voice, explore breathing and develop pitch and rhythm. We’ll choose a starting point that fits your experience and build confidence through practical work on songs.

If you already sing, you can work on phrasing, expression and preparing a song for performance. Lessons are shaped around your interests, whether you want to sing for enjoyment or feel more confident performing.

Your first singing lesson.

Tell us about the songs you love and what you’d like to feel more confident doing. You don’t need previous lessons or performance experience to get started.

We’ll design your lessons around your goals, interests and experience. Whether you’re learning for fun, building confidence or working towards a performance, the approach can grow with you.

Visit the academy.

Find us at The Annexe, Cargo Fleet Offices, Cargo Fleet, South Bank, Middlesbrough TS6 6XH. Free on-site parking is available.

Do I need my own instrument?

No. We have instruments at the academy for you to use during lessons. You’re welcome to bring your own, but there’s no requirement to do so. If you’re thinking of buying an instrument, we’re happy to offer free advice, whether or not you’re a student with us.

Ready to get started?

Tell us who the lessons are for, any experience and what you’d like to learn. We’ll talk through your goals and arrange the next step. Payments and cancellations are managed through our My Music Staff student portal.
