Piano lessons in Middlesbrough.

What you can learn.

Begin by getting comfortable at the keyboard, finding notes and building simple melodies. Lessons can introduce rhythm, reading music and coordinating both hands at a pace that feels manageable.

If you already play, we can work on bringing a piece together, improving fluency and expression, or exploring chords and accompaniment. What you learn will reflect your experience and musical interests.

Your first piano lesson.

We’ll ask about any previous playing and the music you would like to learn. You don’t need to read music before you begin. We can build those foundations alongside practical playing.

We’ll design your lessons around your goals, interests and experience. Whether you’re learning for fun, building confidence or working towards a performance, the approach can grow with you.

Visit the academy.

Find us at The Annexe, Cargo Fleet Offices, Cargo Fleet, South Bank, Middlesbrough TS6 6XH. Free on-site parking is available.

Do I need my own instrument?

No. We have instruments at the academy for you to use during lessons. You’re welcome to bring your own, but there’s no requirement to do so. If you’re thinking of buying an instrument, we’re happy to offer free advice, whether or not you’re a student with us.

Ready to get started?

Tell us who the lessons are for, any experience and what you’d like to learn. We’ll talk through your goals and arrange the next step. Payments and cancellations are managed through our My Music Staff student portal.
